Mattern & Craig is leading the design team for the Dave Lyle Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge in Rock Hill, SC. Services included concept design for the proposed pedestrian bridge, to be constructed over Dave Lyle Boulevard and Norfolk Southern Railroad in the block between West Main Street and West White Street.  Phase 1 of the project included the evaluation of alternatives for the concept design of the bridge, as well as a detailed stakeholder consensus-building process with the City.

Project services included survey, preliminary utility coordination, preliminary maintenance of traffic evaluation, preliminary bridge design & bridge architecture, railroad coordination and site architecture/landscape design for a 120-foot-long signature pedestrian bridge.

Mattern  & Craig is partnering with other industry-leading firms on this significant project, which is currently underway. Our team is excited to advance the project to the next stage of design. Current project rendering photos are below.
