Mattern & Craig is pleased to announce the addition of Jacob Grieb, P.E. to our Johnson City staff.
Jacob, a licensed engineer in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina, has joined Mattern & Craig in the role of design engineer/project manager. Jacob is also a Certified Floodplain Manager and is certified as a Low Impact Design Professional.
Jacob comes to Mattern & Craig from the City of Kingsport where he served as Civil Engineer for three years and the City of Hendersonville, NC for two years. His experience includes a broad range of civil engineering duties including roadway design, sanitary sewer design, stormwater design, and water and sewer lines. Prior to his time on the public side, Jacob spent six years as a design engineer and project manager for private consulting firms in Louisville, KY and Asheville, NC.
A native of Louisville, KY, Jacob is a graduate of the University of Louisville where he earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering, in the field of Civil Engineering. While at the University of Louisville, Jacob was a 4 year letter winner in Men’s Swimming and held the school record for Men’s 200 Free Relay.
