The New Belgium East Coast Brewery project was recently recognized by ENR Southeast magazine as 2016 Best Project in the category of Manufacturing. ENR Southeast is the Engineering News-Record’s regional publication covering the states of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. The project was submitted by Adolfson & Peterson Construction.
Mattern & Craig is proud to have been a part of this exciting project in Asheville. Our staff worked diligently with the project designers and the City of Asheville to help transform the former Livestock Market site located along the French Broad River into a beautiful and modern brewery. Mattern & Craig worked simultaneously on the Craven Street Improvements Project that was also an essential part of the all-inclusive site transformation, providing safe and efficient access for trucks, passenger vehicles, bikes and pedestrians.
There were countless partners and coworkers and hundreds of thousands of hours that went into building the east coast distribution center, brewery and Liquid Center.
We were honored to have been a part of this unified team.
Congratulations to the New Belgium Brewing Company, Adolfson & Peterson Construction, ColeJenest & Stone, the City of Asheville and all the many other partners on the project!
