Mattern & Craig is pleased to announce the addition of Vanessa Hobson, P.E. to our Roanoke, Virginia staff.
Vanessa, a licensed engineer in the state of Virginia, has joined Mattern & Craig in the role of Design Engineer in our Transportation Division.
Vanessa comes to Mattern & Craig with 7 years engineering experience in roadway design, plans preparation and construction support. She has worked on various projects from construction of a new interchange, ramps, several bridges and a new 4-lane arterial in California, to widening of roads from 2-lane to 4-lane, and replacement bridges over railroads in Virginia.
Vanessa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. She enjoys hiking, camping and spending time with her family.
