July 31, 2020 – Mattern & Craig ● Engineers & Surveyors, a civil and structural engineering and surveying firm with offices in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia is pleased to announce the promotion of Sharon Smallwood, Senior Resident Project Representative (RPR), to the position of Construction Manager. She is now the main point of contact for all construction engineering inspection (CEI) project activities within our Tri-Cities offices.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Construction Management. She has broad experience in surveying; general civil design drafting including: water and sewer systems, parking and site plans, storm drainage, roadways, profiles, and earthwork; cost estimating; and construction engineering inspection (CEI).
Sharon has over 21 years of experience performing and managing construction stakeout, performing inspection, and construction management services on various types of construction projects.
