Mattern & Craig has been working with Whaley Construction a contractor from Kodak, Tennessee on the Zirkle Road Bridge project in Jefferson County, Tennessee. One of the property owners adjacent to the project is Rowdy Dogs Farm which is a farm that is home to 3 rowdy dogs and a host of other farm animals. During excavation of the bridge foundations, the contractor dug up a rock that was shaped like a dog and the foreman placed the rock at the end of the Rowdy Dogs Farm driveway. The owners were so appreciative that they have been visiting the workers every day, taking pictures and always bringing treats. It sure has been a pleasant surprise for the Whaley Construction employees!
