Bristol Business Park Lots 2 & 3 Groundbreaking

Wednesday, March 24th was a big day for our region!  Representatives from the City of Bristol, Tennessee, Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, TVA, Tennessee Economic Community Development, NETWORKS Sullivan County, Sullivan County and Mattern & Craig broke ground on the location of 2 new industrial sites in the Bristol Business Park off of Highway 394 near the Bristol Motor Speedway. The first site will accommodate a 30,000 square foot building on a little over 5 acres and the second site will accommodate a 200,000 square foot building on roughly 17 acres. These sites are expected to attract new businesses to our region and allow them to expand in the future.  Mattern & Craig is very proud of our involvement in this important project.  We would like to thank Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, the City of Bristol, and NETWORKS Sullivan County for selecting Mattern & Craig for this and other economic & industrial development projects in the region!

Mattern Craig Principal Dave Wilson participates in the event.

Mattern & Craig prepared Grading & Site plans, Contract Documents and Erosion Control plans for lots 2 and 3. These documents include detailed stormwater quality and quantity management plans, Construction Stormwater Pollution Protection Plans (SWPPP) and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) Construction General Permit for the work.
