MATTERN & CRAIG RECOGNIZED ON MASC LIST OF UTILITIES ENGINEERING FIRMS IN LOWCOUNTRY

Mattern & Craig has been recognized by the Municipal Association of South Carolina (MASC) as a prequalified firm to provide engineering services for water and sewer system improvements projects in South Carolina. The list of firms, assembled by the MASC, is a guide for utility providers, towns, and cities to hire prequalified engineering firms to address their water and sewer project needs. Such projects are funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The major benefit is that municipalities will be able to consult the list, contact firms directly, and bypass a more time-consuming procurement process. Clients will also have the assurance that all listed firms have been pre-qualified as some of the best in the area, assured to meet all project needs based on certain specific criteria.

Mattern & Craig has 44 years of experience in water and wastewater projects, having offered these services since our founding in 1978. Randy Beckner is listed as the primary point of contact on the MASC list. Mr. Beckner has over 30 years of extensive water and wastewater utility experience serving as Project Manager and Principal in Charge of numerous utility projects throughout the southeast. Additionally, Jim Neal can also be contacted directly regarding these services at jrneal@matternandcraig.com.

Mattern & Craig is honored to be a part of this new initiative by the MASC, and we look forward to an exciting future in water/wastewater engineering throughout the Lowcountry and across the Palmetto State.
